Ten years of Space Shack, and the elevator now goes one floor higher.
We have opened four new private offices in the rooftop of Akazienstrasse 3A. Skylights, round windows, wooden floors. Whoever knows the building knows the atmosphere of the lower floors. Up here is a bit different. Quieter, brighter, with a view across Schöneberg.
One of the four is already taken. Three are still available.
Four offices on the 6th floor, all furnished, all 24/7 accessible.
Office 6.006, around 22 m², for 4 to 6 people. Round skylight above the desks, wooden floor, clean white walls. Functional, no showroom feel.
Office 6.007, around 22 m², for 4 to 6 people. Centrally located on the floor. Glass partitions, lots of daylight. A good fit for teams that want focus and openness at the same time.
Office 6.008, almost 28 m², for 5 to 8 people. The largest of the four. Corner room with two round windows and a view. If you are looking for a space where a team can grow without moving again next year, this is the one.
Plus everything else that comes with Space Shack: seven phone booths, community kitchen with free coffee and tea, daily cleaning, 1 Gbit fiber, climate control. Members from over 50 industries. A multilingual team on site, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
We did not shrink anything to open this floor. Coworking, the other private offices, meeting rooms, event rooms and the business address service all run as before. The 6th floor is an extension, not a renovation.
Berlin has lost many coworking spaces in the last few years, and not all the ones that survived have gotten better. We still believe that a good office is more than a desk in a big hall. The 6th floor was free, the demand for small private rooms is there, so we opened. No five year plan, no phase three, no Series A. Just four offices that are now open, three of them still available.
